Unicorn Blood Tracer Dye Powder is designed to help identify water movement, leak paths and points of water ingress during leak detection and diagnostic testing.

The concentrated powder is mixed with water to create a highly visible coloured solution, allowing individual areas to be tested and traced.

How to Use

Mix ___ grams of Unicorn Blood powder with ___ litres of clean water.

Stir thoroughly until the powder has completely dissolved and the colour is evenly dispersed.

Apply or introduce the solution to the area being tested and allow sufficient time for the coloured water to travel through any potential leak path.

Monitor the surrounding or adjoining areas for the appearance of the dye. Where the coloured water appears can assist in identifying the source, direction or pathway of water movement.

For complex leak investigations, different Unicorn Blood colours can be used to test separate areas and help distinguish between potential leak sources.

Once testing is complete, flush the tested area thoroughly with clean water.

Tip: The required concentration may vary depending on the volume of water, size of the test area and visibility required. Always start with the recommended dilution rate and adjust where necessary.
